Sand Lime Bricks
Sand-lime bricks are made out of sand, lime and water (no additives). By high pressing the mixture and autoclaving afterward a firm white building material is produced. Good acoustic insulation, good heat & humidity accumulation, as well as excellent fire resistance, are the main parameters for architects to prescribe lime sand bricks for each building project.
Sand-lime brick is a precast building material that simultaneously provides structure, thermal insulation and sound insulation. SLB is produced by mixing lime, sand, and water into a batch process, where the lime must react in due time with the quick lime to develop some early green strength before entering the autoclave. Quick lime – which has a specific chemistry, reactivity and fineness – is one of the key elements in the process to cast sand-lime products. Lime plasters and renders have a similar linear expansion coefficient as sand-lime bricks, thus avoiding cracking at the surface

Kerbstones
The kerbstones are of a kind of rock called greywacke and they are thought to have been quarried and then dragged or carried by boat to the Boyne Valley from Clogher Head some twenty kilometers to the northeast, up the coast from the mouth of the Boyne. It is made up of grains, usually of quartz or feldspar. If the grains are very small then the sedimentary rock may be called a siltstone. These fine grained sediments often flake fairly easily and if used as kerbstones quite often look rather worn and battered.

Hollow Blocks Bricks (390x190x140mm)
Hollow blocks are innovative building products that are used as substitutes for traditional bricks in building construction. They have an inner void area which is greater than 25% of their gross area and are available in various sizes and shapes. The hollow blocks are made of cement, stone chips, stone dust and sand are not only cheaper than bricks but have other specialities as well. These blocks have more tensile strength, the walls constructed from these blocks act as thermal insulaters because of their hollowness.

Fly Ash Bricks
Fly ash bricks are unconventional bricks manufactured from industrial wastes such as fly ash, cement, sand/stone dust. These types of bricks are nowadays used worldwide with gaining it’s popularity over clay bricks.

Burned Clay Bricks
Burnt clay bricks are the classic form of brick, created by pressing wet clay into molds, then drying and firing them in kilns. This is a very old building material. This type of brick found in many of the ancient structures of the world.
